Obituary of Dawn E. Hodsdon

Monmouth- Dawn Ellen Hodsdon, born September 29, 1965, to Robert LeRoy and Betty May (Prescott) Hodsdon, passed away peacefully in the early morning of Saturday, March 16th, shortly after her son James and daughter-in-law Cristie (Caron) Hodsdon left her side. 

 

Dawn will be greatly missed by her long-time best friend, Michelle (Perry) Cochran, and long-time cribbage mates Alta Turcotte and George Pease. 

 

 She will be missed by many of her cousins whom she grew up with enjoying cookouts and the inevitable softball games that followed.

 

She enjoyed being outside, State and County Fairs, good food, volunteering, helping others, reading in the local library or even on the beach, and spending time with her family.

 

She was survived by her loving son, James Robert Hodsdon, his wife Cristie, grand-children Alana Boulier, Zander Hodsdon, and Coreena "Lillee" Hodsdon; her siblings, Bruce Hodsdon, David Hodsdon, and Cathy Leonard.

 

Dawn was predeceased by her grandson, James "JJ" Robert Hodsdon, Jr., sister, Becky Sue Hodsdon, and both of her parents. 

 

Private services will be held by her son, James Hodsdon at his home in Sabattus on Friday, April 19th at 3 pm. Please reach out directly to James for more information (javagirl867@gmail.com) or for an address to send flowers.
