Mary J. Emerson
4/9/1967 - 3/7/2010





MARY J. EMERSON, 42 of Knox, died March 7, 2010 at a Belfast hospital.  She was born in Belfast April 9, 1968, the daughter of Harold and Gertrude (Tudesco) Emerson, Jr.  She loved her children, enjoyed raising them and participating in their school events.  It was said she “always had a book going” – she loved reading. 


 


She was predeceased by her mother, Gertrude, in 2005 and is survived by her father, Harold Emerson Jr. of Knox; her sons, Paul and his wife Carol Emerson of Searsport and Nicklas Knight of Thorndike; her brother, Anthony and his wife Dorritt Emerson of Knox; three sisters, Karen Bridges of New Hampshire, Phyllis and Mark Styspeck, Jennifer and Robert Piersiak, all of Massachusetts; seven nieces and nephews.


 


Memorial graveside services will be announced at a later date.  Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to Waldo County Home Health & Hospice, PO Box 407, Belfast, ME 04915.  On-line condolences may be offered at www.ripostafh.com.  Arrangements are under the care of Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
