Andrea J. Appleby 56, of Orono, passed away February 3, 2010 in Bangor. She was born July 31, 1953 in Bangor, the daughter of Neal and Addie (Austin) Putnam. Andrea grew up in Monroe and attended Hermon High School. She then went on to attend cosmetology school in Brewer and received her license from the State of Maine for barbering and cosmetology. Andrea owned her own shop in Eddington.

She is pre-deceased by her parents, her husband Harold Appleby and niece Tara Putnam.  Andrea is survived by her sister Annalee Wright and husband David of Cape Porpoise; brothers Brad Putnam and wife Coleen of Brooks, Bruce Putnam of Winn, ME, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Memorial gathering will be held on Sunday February 7^th from 1-3 pm at her residence, Maine View Apartments, 95 Main St.  apt #13 Orono, ME.
